Jan 20 - 23, 2024. I was not prepared to love this ship, but Wow!
"There is so much technology and upgrades throughout this ship, I can see why Royal is charging a premium right now to sail Icon and soon her sister Star.Royal also integrated Central Park with the promenade both through large windows that allow you to look out at the ocean and a staircase that takes you directly down to Pearl Cafe in the Promenade...."Read More

LOUD, LOUD AND MORE LOUD

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Icon of the Seas

AINE NI LAITHIMH
6-10 Cruises • Age 70s

It's been at least 10 ten years since we took a cruise. we just happen to be in fla. And decided to drive to miami and take a cruise, the weather hadn't been good in jan/feb. and don't get me started on the non spa. i guess those tired moms don't deserve a little break. the worst rub down i've ever had, along with the up, up, up sell to possible other treatments that you didn't need. there ...

Amazing Family Vacation

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Icon of the Seas

10+ Cruises • Age 40s

We traveled on Icon two adults and two children ages 8 and 6 and had an amazing time. The staff were all beyond friendly. You could tell they had to work their way up to this ship. We were not a huge fan of the Adventure Ocean programs which, at least for our children's ages, never left the club. So, if you dropped your kids off during the day they essentially sat inside and played on a ...

Overpriced excellence

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Icon of the Seas

We are senior cruisers so we did not partake in a lot of the activities designed for youth and families. So what's so great? The elevator system stands out as a Hugh improvement. Very little waiting, mostly empty and many nonstop express rides all week. Entertainment: They brought the best musicians and singers from other ships. Good house band and an additional feature band called Legends ...

My wife an i spent two weeks in mid-ship rooms on icon of the seas-the first two weeks of february. OVERVIEW: We have been on over 100 cruises, the most recent being on holland america's rotterdam. Icon compares favorably in most categories, but is the most beautiful ship we have sailed. The icon of the seas is incredibly beautiful. The architecture, the magnificent technology, and the ...

A quick overview of Icon of the Seas from our Jan 20-23 preview sailing. Some background on us. Cruising nearly 20 years, have sailed on 10 cruise lines. We love all manner of ships from the Icons to the small 650 passenger vessels. Prior to Icon we've sailed Mariner and Symphony on Royal. From what we were told there were 4000 on our sailing and I can tell you the ship felt empty. This ship ...

Amazing new ship with some minor issues

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Icon of the Seas

Cruise4family5
2-5 Cruises • Age 30s

The embarkation process was smooth and seamless as we arrived at 10am. No issues at check-in, no lines, and no hiccups getting bags through scanning. The entrance into the Royal Promenade is very grand and the space is VERY long and wide. The ceiling can light up and participate in entertainment which is a very cool feature. We stayed in an outside balcony cabin (12th floor), which felt ...
