Family cruise for half term. Entertainment was very poor. Barely any entertainment during sail away, the entertainment on board was rubbish. The food in Latitude was terrible and the wine utterly undrinkable in every bar. The food was basic throughout the ship. Except the pizzas at Nonna’s were nice.
My 6 year old grandson got told to leave a room where they had an air hockey table because ...
Itinerary was fine except for the fiasco of US border checks ,officers came onto the ship to check every esta and fingerprint every holidaymaker. This took all day 100 People called every half hour or so to line up and be seen .Some people waited around until 6in the evening and the ship left port at 8 so they had a couple of hours ashore in a port that was closed and dark. There were fights in ...
We liked the ship and found the staff very friendly and helpful. They did their best to serve you in the bars and restaurants, and also to try and keep the ship clean.
The singers and musicians in the bars and around the pool where very good. The dancers and singers work very hard and we saw all the shows and enjoyed them.
The food selection in the buffet and main restaurants was good, and ...
We travelled with Marella same embarkcation in 2022. Rebooted on the positive journey last year.
The ships hygiene is poor. They don't wipe down tables after use in the Island restaurant (indoor or out) when we spoke to someone they tried to justify the lack of care due to a Customs Inspection on the day. However, whilst they removed dishes quickly, they didn't wipe at all, the entire 7 days ...
I got this for my Wife's 60th birthday as she has been on several cruises but it was my first time.
We booked a 2 week cruise round the Carribbean and I was totally smitten by it all the ship was fantastic the crew were always smiling and very helpful the Captain had a fantastic sence of humour and always had time to talk to you.
The entertainment was generally quite good but there was a few ...
As I have cruised with marella before I must say it was our 1st time on Voyager.
Where do I Start.
From boarding at Barbados we were made welcome, our cabin on deck 4 was beautifully clean and equipped with everything we needed especially storage, great size shower and toilet area and comfortable beds .
Then the dining areas, we were spoiled for choice, the food was perfection with so ...
The balcony cabin and bathroom was lovely, and maintained to a lovely standard.
The staff are fantastic, with special acknowledgement to Leandro (Atrium Bar), Ni (Sushi restaurant) and Rodrigo (Bar 11), who were exceptional.
The drinks package was well worth the additional £90, with quality premium drinks available.
The main downfall was the food, it was difficult to book into the ...
I thought I would take this opportunity to write a review of our 2 week (7 day back to back ) Caribbean Island Cruise on the Marella Voyager. 21st Jan to 4th Feb 2024. We booked it for my 60th birthday which fell mid holiday. Having only been on one cruise previously ( 10 days Mediterranean on Celebrity ) we stiil feel we are relative novices at this type of holiday. Before I start to make my ...
We didn't realise that we were going to a holiday camp. In fairness I have to say that the cleanliness, cabins, shows, restaurants and staff service and attitudes were excellent, however we have travelled many times with Thomson and Marella and as soon as they went all inclusive their product became Benidorm.
You are supposed to at least wear "tailored" shorts in the restaurant but they were ...
We had an amazing 2 weeks on this ship. i will say that the buffett was lovely but it was the same every day.
We ended up in the restaurants for a change.
We had a balcony cabin and it was lovely. the house keeping we just could not fault. in twice a day fresh coffee and tea.
