This was part of a broader holiday experience acquired through Imaging Cruising. Reason for going was to visit places that were on our travel wish list - Singapore, Vietnam, HK and especially Japan. It was a late booking and we were fortunate to be given a cabin upgrade by Silversea on embarcation, which just made the whole adventure better.
Neither of us are particular lovers of 'days at sea' but there were sufficient ports-of-call and excursions to keep us happy.
We were suprised to find that were given one inclusive on-shore excursion per day. This was not expected and saved what would have been a significant expense had we paid for the excursions we did.
An unexpected upgrade. No complaints whatsoever.
Fascinating, very busy. Cu Chi tunnels well worth the long bus ride. I managed to break the rules by going down the tunnels as I'm over 70.
Got ripped-off by the rickshaw boys but all part of life's rich pattern.
Fascinating place but very busy - a bit too much for my wife. HK side better than Kowloon (in my opinion only)
Picked the wrong excursion but the Kamikazi Peace Museum was very thought provoking.
Second time we'd been there. Managed to get a hyper-expensive Singapore Sling in Raffles Long Bar. Also managed a S$40 taxi round trip to visit the Changi POW museum only to find it was closed on Mondays.
