My husband and I are new cruisers and this was the first one that we have been on. This cruise for us was in celebration of our 4yr anniversary. The trip was a 5 day cruise to the Bahamas on the Carnival Elation that departed from Jaxport as well as returned to. we visited Nassau and Princess cays in this time we stayed in a states room with a balcony over all the room was great but our room attendant was magnificent Ms. Ni Putu was absolutely wonderful in every aspect she was never far away, was always available, answered any and all questions we had (which was a lot as this was our first cruise) new us by name after the first time she introduced herself (immediately after we entered our room for the first time) overall she was phenomenal. The ship was very spacious , always clean, offered a wide variety service, and did really well at communicating personal trip/account information. The staff were incredibly nice for the most part other than maybe a staff member that spoke negatively to another about guest in the presence of other guest. There are many dining options on board all with great quality and food. The entertainment was nonstop and was always a the absolute best. Overall I give this 5 and would definitely sail with Carnival on this ship again. Also as a last for first time cruising I definitely recommend adding money to your sail and sign as you go rather then linking your debit card charges can add up quick with the wide variety of bars and shopping and can get pricey quickly if your not careful.
