I sailed once before on Valiant Lady, from Barcelona to Miami. It was a great time, so I am a return customer. I did find that the Scarlet Lady showed more wear and tear, it’s still got great cabins, great food and great entertainment.
The room service is good, though I felt the quality had dropped slightly from my first Virgin voyage. The restaurants and the food court are all excellent and have friendly service. When there were any problems, service recovery was good.
The entertainment is interesting and quite different from typical cruise shows, especially the quality of the musicians and the main shows.
The Virgin veranda cabin is really nice, laid out very well and the bed is comfortable. The shower did leak on the floor, and it looked like there was some wear and tear, but it’s still superior to a balcony room on the other mid-priced lines.
