The service, food, cabins were all great. Totally disappointed in communication. Never received the next days schedule until 8-9 the night before. Even the next morning crew were not versed as to what the schedule would be. Totally unacceptable was our return flights. 1 1/2 days before departure we were told that our ship would dock at 9:00 and couldn't leave the ship until at least 9:30. We were originally told that ship would dock at 6:00 on the last day. It was 30 minutes to the airport. Our flight was at 11:00. They said we'd make it. Impossible. We were supposed to be at the airport 3 hrs prior. We were told to make return flights after 11:00, which we did. They were aware that at least 3 couple had flights at 11:00 two weeks prior when we boarded the ship. We should have been contact then to discuss of possibly missing our flight. We couldn't risk missing our flight and having to stay extra days. The management agreed with us and said to keep all receipts. We left a day early. It's impossible to get ahold of American Airlines when overseas. They were no help in assisting us with flight arrangements, overnight hotel and we even had to call our own taxi when we left the ship. Our TA has contacted them regarding this as well as we've sent an email to customer service. No response from anyone. Depending on the outcome of this we will never sail with Scenic again.
