I am platinum on my way to Sapphire with NCL. I'm also travel agent. This ship is the worst I have ever been on.
If you have mobility issues, and need to use a wheelchair or a scooter and are traveling alone this ship is NOT for you. The bathrooms that are labeled as handicap accessible do not have any automatic door openers. Nor do many of the decks, with the exception of deck 11. Beside the fact that the doors on other decks do not have electronic openers, the ramps over the door frames are not even, you have to lift your device about 2 inches over the ramp on the interior side. The excuse the access officer gave me was that it's an old ship. Yes it is, very old, but that does not negate there disregard for passengers who do not have somebody with them at all times to help them in and out of unaccessible doorways. Even the so-called accessible bathrooms do not have openers.
As an agent I had booked someone for their first NCL voyage on this ship. Previously she had only been on Royal Caribbean. She was very upset with the service, or lack thereof, on this ship. I was embarrassed.
Very little storage space, the balcony cabin is supposed to sleep three, but I don't see how three people could possibly coexist in this tiny space. Do not expect the usual balcony cabin size, or storage area. There are no shelves and just three very small drawers in the closet. The space in the bathroom is very minimal in the shower is smaller than an old fashioned phone booth.
