Just got off celebrity Ascent out of Fort Lauderdale. We chose to get into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood the day before and stay at hotel. We had a concierge room and a 12:30 boarding time. We decided to get to port at 11:30 and wait in the area. Well, We called for Uber (15$ compared to shuttle from hotel 15$ each) at 10:28 AM, Uber picked us up at 10:30, we were at terminal at 10:45 expecting to wait. We kept walking and going through the easiest on boarding ever and were in room on Ship by 11:10. The whole embarkation is so much easier now!

Once on ship we enjoyed everything. Buffet, restaurant and we did specialty dining 2 nights, but honestly the food in the restaurants and Buffett was great. The shows were very good and there were plenty of choices and activities. The did have several areas for non pool activity. Very on brand for celebrity with regards to children. Not a lot for them but that is there thing. Debarkation to ports was seamless. There were plenty of excursions to choose from. While at sea we like the casino but it didn't like us!

The ship was immaculate, never waited for a towel, chair or food. At buffet they had coffee and danish carts going through, so you didn’t even have to get up to get coffee. Every single person greeted you and said hello. Read more
