This was my husband and my 7th cruise together and my 10th. We’ve cruised Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean and this was our first MSC Cruise. I had low expectations going in due to recent reviews, but we wanted a “do over” cruise as our one 5 months ago was terrible. However, MSC Seashore was wonderful! The food was amazing! This was what worried me the most as RC didn’t have good food at all and I prepared myself for a similar experience. Now, we did sail in the Yacht Club and never dined in the non-YC areas. Maybe this was the reason? Who knows. Either way, the ship was the most beautiful we’d seen, especially for a smaller ship. My 2.5 year old was entertained and we never even used the Baby Club! He was satisfied with our Ocean Cay stop, the Jungle Pool area, arcade and the YC pools and whirlpools. We also loved the views at the Bridge of Sighs. The only dislike we had was the kid’s aquapark which was covered, so a sail in February meant a breeze- it was just too cool to enjoy. My son was too cold and just preferred the Jungle area instead. Overall, this was one of my favorite cruises and we simply cannot comprehend the bad reviews whatsoever.
