The cruise ship itself was large and clean. The staff though was not trained very well and confusing to talk with. I had purchased the soft drink package which comes with a cup to use at the drink stations. I thought this might be addressed at the check in but that was basically a glance at your passport and sent aboard. I could not find any information other than to see guest services so I did just that. I was pointed to a table near the guest services that had cups all over it. When i asked for my cup I was told no I had to go to a bar and ask for it. I went back to GS and let them know that their information was incorrect to not sed anyone else there for a cup. I was told sir that is the pale to get the cup you need to see the man in the white shirt. I went back and told the man in the white shirt what GS said and again was told no. At this point i was not happy with the run around and grabbed one of the many cups on the table and tried to hand them my room key and said I'm taking a cup here check that I paid for it. They just said ok as they saw i was getting upset. Wouldn't have been that big of a deal if the GS person didn't go out of their way to say that for sure this is where you get the cup. So the staff is not trained on the proper process for retrieving the cups.
The food was so so and some if it seemed old and hard as it was probably used day after day if not eaten. The stores are not open during part of the day. I didn't get the concept of having stores that only open in the evenings when people are doing other things. The casino is large and would be a nice addition if it weren't for the cancer patients blowing smoke all over you. Come on its time to do away with smoking in casinos. The atmosphere was laid back but almost too laid back as the music by the pool was more like elevator music and was boring. The cherry on top for the boring cruise was that once I got home I was hit by a $50 charge for a towel that I never touched nor asked for. I went for business and was bunked with a roommate that apparently had asked for a towel and again the staff didnt know the policies and just allowed him to take a towel and give the room number. I was told when I called that the policy is to scan the room key when they take the towel and return it. So since my name appeared first I was charged for a towel that I had never touched. I didnt appreciate this as they could not reverse the charge but had to wait for it to post on my account and then issue a refund which would take up to 10 business days.
Cabin was just ok. Didnt get the items I requested before the cruise until half way through.
