We booked this cruise because we thought it would be a good way to see some East Coast cities and hopefully see some fall colors.
We both felt that the food was good and had no complaints. One specific issue we had with the buffet was getting a table to sit at. This seems to be a problem with most of the cruises that we have been on lately.
Embarkation was in Brooklyn. It was raining and we were glad that we dressed for it, because the facility does not provide adequate protection from the rain. My wife needs a wheelchair, and it seemed that the facility was not adequately staffed.
We liked the cabin. There was enough storage for both of us. The head (bathroom) was good and the shower curtain in the bathtub didn't attack you when taking a shower. We both felt that the bed was comfortable and we slept well. My wife generally is a lite sleeper and I had to wake her up every morning. Balcony was a nice size. We couldn't use it because of rain and generally lousy weather.
We took the Princess shore excursion to Arcadia National park. However, weather was sketchy. Town was a typical tourist town with an East Coast spin on it.
We choose to take a HOHO bus thru Boston. Weather was cold and passengers closed isin glass windows to stay warm. We got off the bus to visit the site of the Boston Massacre and give my wife an opportunity to get some retail therapy. We also got off the bus at Cheers and were disappointed because it was really crowded. We would have to wait 45 to 60 minutes to get a beer. Boston is a nice city and we would recommend walking.
