We chose this cruise to see the variety of beauty available in the different Hawaiian Islands. The islands are beautiful and cruising is a great way to get to each one saving time and hassle by not dealing with airports so our main objective was accomplished.
I have sailed on Norwegian Cruises before so I had some expectations of what I would be getting for my money. However, some advice I would give is:
If you don't absolutely need a balcony I wouldn't spend the extra money especially if your cabin is on the right side (starboard) side of the boat. The ports are working ports so not beautiful and very noisy. You are off the boat most of the time so the only time you are sailing is at night so nothing to see. The (aft) backward facing baloneys seemed to offer by far the best views.
