My wife & I enjoyed a wonderful cruise onboard Celebrity Edge, from Sydney to New Zealand and back, from December 9-21, 2023.
We had cruised previously with Silversea (2006), and had enjoyed seven cruises with Crystal between 2010 and 2019, but this was our first cruise on a ship with a capacity of more than approximately 1,000 passengers.
We were pleasantly surprised Celebrity Edge mostly didn't feel crowded (except on two occasions: disembarking in Christchurch, and on the last sea day of the cruise, prior to arrival back in Sydney, when the Oceanview Café was absolutely packed with people during lunch).
