This was our 6th cruise with Celebrity. We are in our eighties and have cruised 19 times. This was a cruise to the Dutch Islands of the Caribbean. As usual we made use of an outstanding cruise consultant with Expedia Cruises.

All the necessary information is on the Celebrity web site. The Celebrity App is really needed to avoid confusion. However, in our case, going cruising is fundamentally a smart phone taking along two old folks to keep the battery charged. Nevertheless, it is an excellent App and highly recommended. What I particularly appreciate is that the Guest Ticket Booklet is available on the web site early and it contains baggage tags thus you can print as many as you wish. You can do the check-in etc. on your phone which makes the embarkation run very smoothly... Travel docs then arrived that included baggage tags. The eDocs document is very comprehensive and has all the information necessary for a great trip.

Getting onboard Celebrity Equinox the pre-embarkation information was excellent and they gave us an appointment for embarkation. There was no line, no waiting, and we were on board in no time flat! They sent us to our room where the seapass cards await. They tell you to leave your carry-on bags in the room and go explore the ship. There was an issue with the ship replenishment in our case which meant that we received our baggage once the ship was underway.
