Our experience on the ship was overall impressive, though there were a few areas that could use improvement. The main pool was notably small and overcrowded, but we preemptively opted for the Vibe Beach Club, which was a delightful and valuable addition to our trip. The speed raceway, while unique, seemed to consume a lot of space that could potentially be better used for additional deck amenities, such as bars or restaurants.

The Ocean Boulevard and the Indulge Food Hall were highlights, offering a fantastic variety of small dishes from around the globe, perfectly situated on the ship with a great atmosphere but lacked live music. The buffet was satisfactory but felt a bit limited in size. The staff, particularly in the Vibe Beach Club, were outstanding in their service and friendliness. The bars and public spaces onboard were exceptional. Each bar boasted a unique ambiance and a distinct cocktail menu, making every visit a novel experience. The whisky bar's diverse offerings, including a Woodsford old fashioned as part of the premium drink package, were a standout. Another recommendation is the Bananarumma at the Metropolitan Bar.

A notable shortfall was the absence of tropical or island-themed music throughout the ship. This lack of appropriate music, especially in areas like the Vibe Beach Club bar, detracted from the overall tropical vacation atmosphere. Even the live performers did not incorporate tropical music into their sets, which was a letdown. This omission alone might lead us to consider other cruise lines for a more authentic tropical experience in the future.

Cabin Review

Inside

The interior cabin was impressively designed. It offered ample storage space, never feeling cramped, and featured a spacious bathroom for a cruise ship. The thoughtful layout, with the bed well-oriented to the TV, optimized the available space.

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

Great Stirrup Cay turned out to be a delightful surprise. From the moment we set foot on its soft, beautiful sand until our return to the ship, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. We chose to explore the far side of the island, which was less crowded and offered better-than-expected dining options. The food selection was varied, ranging from typical fare like hot dogs and burgers to delicious additions like Jerk Chicken. Nearby, there was a spot offering made-to-order dishes such as ceviche and fish sandwiches. While the food might not be gourmet, it was quite satisfying for an island lunch. The drink options were plentiful, too. Our drink package from the ship was valid on the island, allowing us access to all the premium drinks we enjoyed onboard. There was also a station with ready-made drinks and punches from a dispenser, which conveniently never had a line.

The island's beauty was striking, with crystal clear, blue waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. There was no shortage of activities, from zip lining to paddleboarding and kayaking. Finding a spot to relax wasn't an issue, but for $29, renting a chair with an umbrella for the day seemed a worthwhile investment for guaranteed shade and comfort. Overall, Great Stirrup Cay offered a fantastic experience, and it's a place I would eagerly visit again.
