Embarking on a recent voyage aboard the Norwegian Escape, I was eager to explore the luxurious amenities and exceptional service promised by this renowned cruise line. While the overall experience offered a blend of positive and negative aspects, I would like to provide a comprehensive review that highlights both the remarkable features and areas for improvement on this particular journey.
Pool Area and Lounge Chair Management:
One of the significant downsides of the Norwegian Escape was the inadequacy of lounge chairs in the pool area. This issue was further exacerbated by the introduction of a somewhat controversial "pool police" system, wherein stickers were used to identify reserved but unoccupied chairs. Regrettably, I observed little enforcement of these policies, resulting in frustration among guests. As a party of four, securing lounge chairs required an early morning presence on the pool deck, often as early as 6:30 am. Even arriving at a relatively early hour of 7:30 am the previous day, I encountered difficulties finding suitable seats for my party.
Cabin 87** had a great balcony, bigger than normal.
