A decade ago we always had great experiences with Carnival…

With toddlers aged two and three years old, we haven’t traveled out of the country since COVID and couldn’t wait to take our dream cruise to Turks and Caicos, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. We splurged on a Family Harbor suite, knowing we would be in the room for naps and in the room again for bedtime at 7:30pm and wanted to be able to take advantage of the balcony and the extra space.

Here’s where it all went wrong:

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

The cable car was amazing! Puerta Plata is very beautiful as well. I’d skip the Amber Museum and Rum Factory.
