We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and length of cruise. I had been on a Carnival ship years ago and had a great experience. This cruise started off with a dirty stateroom that clearly had not been vacuumed. Crumbs and fingernails all over the floor and the desk area was sticky and dirty, as was the opening around the window. In addition, we had a non-functioning remote control and they could never find one for us that worked 100%! We purchased the bubbles pkg for soda and our fault, didn’t realize it didn’t include water. It was a chore to ever find a server to get us a drink in the dining areas. Additionally, the ship ran out of bottled water to purchase by day 3! In regards to the food….it was subpar at best. The buffet had very few choices, was not good and the presentation was lacking. There were repeated times where either they ran out of food or just didn’t feel like bringing anymore out. Outside of the dining room, we felt the employees were not very friendly or available. The dining room saved our experience! The free pizza wasn’t even very good! How do you mess that up?! Thank god for Guy’s burgers, because they were yummy! The casino was nice but they don’t control smoking only in the designated area and once again, we had a hard time finding any drink servers.

We will go back to Royal Caribbean or Norwegian in the future. Carnival is not worth my money!
