I chose this cruise because if all the hype about the food. I was unfortunately disappointed in the food at the specialty restaurants and would have rather just eaten at the galley. The service was very slow and there seemed to be no rhyme or reason how the food came out of the kitchen. When at the Wake and Extra Virgin people that showed up later would get their food before people that had already been waiting. This happened to me as well as other couples in both restaurants. I certainly wouldn't bother doing the brunch in the specialty restaurants again either as it wasn't that good and very slow. The Galley food and selection, however was better than most ships I've been on.

The other major issue with this ship is pool area. The 2 pools are very small and if you aren't there 1st thing you are out of luck. I'm not someone that hangs in the pool all day, but I do like to jump in occasionally to cool down. I stayed on the ship in Cozumel so I could actually enjoy the area.

I didn't choose this cruise based on the ports as they were just average locations. I chose it based on the food and hype around Virgin. On a positive note the shows I attended were all very good.

Cabin Review

Cabin was fine. Similar to other balcony rooms on other ships. There was some modern touches and a computer pad to play with the lights and curtains that I didnt really use. Bed to me was pretty firm.
