I read a lot of horror about msc and the magnifica and is it luxury, not at all; does it have flaws, of course, was it enjoyable, very. Have an open mind because not everything can and should be perfect
1. Embarkation- very easy, we embarked an hour before scheduled time and it was totally fine. Once on board you go straight to your room (if it is ready) and you get your key card and we were ...
Shows this cruise because it fit my schedule and the price was reasonable. However, the food at the Monet dining room. Very good food I give the food at the Monet dining room along with the service five stars.
The ship does show its age it’s got rusted out parts on the ship, we can see holes nothing would make it see worthy.
The reason why I will never go on Carnival again is because they ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and length of cruise. I had been on a Carnival ship years ago and had a great experience. This cruise started off with a dirty stateroom that clearly had not been vacuumed. Crumbs and fingernails all over the floor and the desk area was sticky and dirty, as was the opening around the window. In addition, we had a non-functioning remote control and they ...
We chose this cruise for it's ports of call and the time of year. It was a large family trip with members flying in from all over the U.S. The check-in process was great! We had upgraded our room to larger rooms (with balcony's) at the very back (aft) of the ship. The Magic is old and in need of both cosmetic and structural repair. The thrusters were broken during the entire cruise which mean ...
We chose this cruise to sail with family. That was really the only good point. We are gold members and it's either our 7 or 8th cruise. Never able to get a deck chair. The entire ship is beat up and dated. The food was horribly disappointing. The entertainment was so very limited and just not up to carnivals usual standards. We paid for the Italian restaurant and the service was phenomenal. The ...
We just completed (Feb 2024) a five day cruise on Celebrity Summit, from Miami, with port calls in Nassau and Cozumel. I was very excited when we booked the cruise last September, but became apprehensive after reading some of the reviews on cruise critic. However, I am happy to report that we truly enjoyed our five days on the Summit. From the moment we stepped on the ship, to the moment we left ...
Smallest ship we’ve been on but it surpassed our expectations. Felt modern, clean and was actually really nice and we had a great 5 days. The food was fantastic, in the dining room and the buffet. The pool area was nice besides the usual annoying people who ‘reserve’ their sunbed and use them for half an hour the whole day!!! The staff do nothing.
Our cabin was interior and very big. Really ...
This was the worst cruise we’ve ever been on. Food was awful and inedible. Absolutely horrible with no flavor. There wasn’t even a dessert that was good. I don’t know how you mess up cake. It was like eating a pile of sand. The apples in the apple tart tasted like chemicals. I hardly ate anything all week. Only one restaurant that’s included.
Our bathroom had a constant puddle on the floor ...
We went a weekend and we really had a good time because in the end it's a vacation but inside the cruise very bad service the food was fatal too many people to such an extent that there were endless queues I would never repeat. You had high expectations and I left very disappointed it's really my experience I made the mistake of not checking the comments first and for me the worst thing was that ...
Astonishing service all around. Maurice went above and beyond ensuring we had an amazing dinning experience. The servers Mike, Eko, and James were very attentive, and awesome. Their level of detail was excellent. We loved them being part of our experience, and we’re grateful to them.
The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. We loved the menu and verity of options.
Also, Jophet the stateroom ...
