Easy to walk off and get a taxi but beware - the info desk will tell you that Coco beach is a taxi-ride along the coast but, having been there 8 years ago we walked to it, only to find it no longer exists and has had a hotel built on it. You can pay to go in if you wish.

We decided this time that we were going to go to a beach and enjoy the beautiful turquoise waters of the Island of Bonaire. It didn't disappoint. We spent all our time enjoying the waters and sun.

We saw the pink lakes and salt flats, many pink flamingos, lighthouse and slave huts in the morning and in the afternoon we hired a driver to take us off the beaten path down side rows, into small neighborhoods where we saw many birds and got a closer view of flamingos.
