Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

Waited for the tender ticketing process to abate to escape the bedlam. Caught a "bus" into Port Vila - what a driving experience. But, not a scary as the drive back. $5 AUD each way. Now, I know where all the old Toyota's go. The people here are super friendly and always seem happy. The duty free is excellent!!! We got some Scotch from Paris Duty Free at 42% less than at the local Dan ...

We had an overnight stay. We did the Glass Bottom Boat and Snorkelling tour through the ship. It was a pleasant tour with a very friendly guide. On the second day, we took a water taxi to the shopping area and walked to the big yellow duty free store. Great prices on alcohol and very busy. Took a water taxi back to the port for the tender to the ship. The water taxi was preferable to ...

Visited many times before so done all the tours. Just went into town , purchased grog, had coffee and walked around. Did note they have put in an extension to the waterfront walk, now you can continue walking on path past the town and along waterfront for another kilometer or so, there is even a multilevel shopping centre and cinena complex along the way. ...

Raining on and off, so had to use taxi's into and out of town. $5 each way per person. Not much business for the water taxi's today also $5 each way per person. Booze prices have dropped a bit since few months ago so back to excellent. Just went into town, had coffee, get some free internet and walk around. Been here plenty of times. Can use Australian money. ...

Great place to visit as so much variety to do ashore ( especially cheap grog). We had to tender ashore as ship was too large for dock ( first time ever for us in over 10 visits) It's fun talking down the cost of taxi and boat trips to half . They wanted $5 each, I got it for $5 for two. ...
