Great town. Ship docks in view of the fortress and opera house, close to the centre. Did a long walk to visit (for free) the Vigeland park with all of its statues, in the snow. Really had a good vibe, although the many terraces along the waterfront (Akersbrygge) will be another thing one can only enjoy in summer. ...

Oslo was extremely easy to reach from the boat, literally 5 minutes walk away. It was surprisingly small with a lot of building work going on around the parliament area as a result of the aftermath of the terror attack in 2011. National Museum was well priced for seniors and had loads to see, could easily have spent all day in there. ...
