Worst MSC Cruise Ship Ever

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC World Europa

AbLuKi
6-10 Cruises • Age 30s

I have sailed with MSC in 4 different ships in the past, Splendida, Poesia, Euribia (the best so far) and lastly World Europa which was a huge shock! I don't even know where to begin on how awful the whole experience on this ship was. The staff was so unfriendly and always angry with everyone (guests and their own colleagues) there are a few exceptions of course but these were hard to find ...

Not ready yet. Same food every day.

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Sun Princess

Staff is great and they out of their way to please customers. Food is below average and repeats every day. Ship layout is amazing and provides feeling of a smaller ship. Nothing is ever crowded. Reserve balconies are good for one person. However the room a spacious. Spa wasn't fully ready. Onboarding was smooth even for a large ship. Cost management is very obvious. Big shows ...

Some observations on Sun Princess cruise #1

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Sun Princess

1) No production shows. The arena isn’t ready and actors need to rehearse. Everyone was given a $60 credit. 2) Santorini port visit was cancelled. Something about the cable car in town was undergoing maintenance. Crete was substituted. 3) I’d suggest making dinner reservations each night in horizons level 6 or 7. Then if you want to go to a speciality restaurant jsut cancel the horizons ...

Totally disappointed

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

JenniferE
6-10 Cruises • Age 40s

I wish I would’ve googled this ship before we booked, but I guess I gotta learn somehow. This was our first cruise with Norwegian and everyone was ranting and raving about how great everything is. The only thing they had going for them was embarkment and disembarking, that was super easy as long as you know what you are doing. Our room had a hull balcony, which is fine because I knew what those ...

Enjoyable Caribbean cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I went on this cruise with relatives who were celebrating a big anniversary and I was in a solo studio. This was my first time on the Epic and I had a great cruise but my experience was likely very different from others who sailed on this ship recently. Reasons for this may be because this cruise had fewer people on it than others recently and it seemed as though there was a lot of new staff. I ...

WORST EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE DO NOT UNLESS YOU

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC World Europa

We were staying in cabin on the 11th floor with infinity ocean view boarded at Palmero with fantastica experience. Issue 1: They do not clean you window. We were stuck with a dirty window for 5 days without anyone cleaning. When you complaint the room attendant say she promise they will clean on the next day. When next day comes they do not clean them. The window is dirty from them cleaning ...

Too many cut backs poor service food and entertainment

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Iona

Lindypops
10+ Cruises • Age 70s

check in was easy and took about 30 minutes to get on the ship. We self disembarked which was also quite quick . No wow factor on boarding the ship. There are 3 sets of 8 lifts and you wait ages for a lift and it is often full . Maximum 8 people in each lift less if there is a mobility scooter or wheelchair and there are over 5000 guests . Last day 12 lifts out of 24 were out of ...

Iona fails to sparkle or delight

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Iona

Having cruised with P&O several times, and on Iona before, we were happy to book a 14 night trip to the Canaries. However, our experience during the cruise will lead us to explore other cruise lines in future. We recognise that P&O Cruises offer a value proposition - and in many ways it delivers the basics well. But even a value proposition can delight customers through actions which are not ...

Not up to P & O old standards

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Iona

Food was OK unless you paid extra when it was great. entertainment was poor compared to pre pandemic times. Far to much emphasis on tech not on quality. In old day you got a new show every night. No longer it's every other night. on line booking system is poor and older people found it difficult to use. rooms were narrow but the conservatory was great Internet package worked well but ...

P&O more like P & NO!!

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Iona

Cruise Adventure
10+ Cruises • Age 30s

Where do I begin... Arrived on this two week cruise with an open mind as I usually cruise frequently with another provider. Iona is a much larger ship with different facilities onboard than I am use to. Once onboard after by inlarge an easy embarkation process, I embarked onto this enormous ship. The Atrium is not spectacular and feels more like a shopping centre on a high street than the ...
