VIVA Cruises operates 10 ships along the European rivers of the Danube, Rhine, Moselle, Elbe, Main, Rhone and Seine on full charters to Tauck and Riviera Travel, amongst others, under the Scylla brand.
In 2018, the family behind Scylla founded its own river cruise operator, VIVA Cruises, based in Dusseldorf, Germany, and from July 2021, VIVA will operate its very first new-build ship VIVA ONE.
You may well have sailed on a VIVA ship without knowing -- popular ships include Jane Austen and Lord Byron, both of which are chartered by Riviera Travel; and Inspire and Treasures is operated by Tauck.
VIVA offers a fully all-inclusive product, which includes full board, high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, minibar, beauty products from luxury cosmetic brand, Rituals, Wi-Fi and all tips and gratuities.
VIVA Cruises is currently a river cruise specialist, but is entering the expedition market with new ship MS Seaventure, formerly MS Bremen, in May 2021.
The 164-passenger vessel will off 13 unique itineraries including the Baltic Sea, Iceland & Spitsbergen, Greenland, Canada and South America.
The ships small size allows it to enter remote harbours and winding rivers, as well as operate in the Arctic.
